We are hiring Computer Programmers to support the Small Business Administration's (SBA) Birmingham office. You will apply your expertise in programming procedures to complex programs; recommend the redesign of programs, investigate and analyze feasibility and program requirements, and develop programming specifications. Assigned programs typically affect a broad multi-user computer system which meets the data processing needs of a broad area (e.g., manufacturing, logistics planning, finance management, human resources, or material management) or a computer system for a project in engineering, research, accounting, statistics, etc. You will plan the full range of programming actions to produce several interrelated but different products from numerous and diverse data elements, which are usually from different sources; solves difficult programming problems, and uses knowledge of pertinent system software, computer equipment, work processes, regulations, and management practices.

PPL is the technical and operational home for the Agency’s 350+ Foreign Service Program Officer (BS 02) Backstop. Program Officers (POs) serve in 40+ USAID Missions around the world and lead the Agency on strategic planning, project design, monitoring and evaluation, and resource management. As a Program Analyst on the BS 02 Team, you will provide support for the recruitment, assignments, training and career management of BS-02 Program Officers to strengthen their leadership role in advancing USAID’s mission in the field.
You will liaise with PPL/PO’s Administrative Management Services team, PPL offices (Policy; Strategic and Program Planning; Learning, Evaluation and Research; Program; and Development Cooperation), the Agency’s Human Capital and Talent Management (HCTM) office, and other bureaus throughout the Agency as necessary to support these efforts. Overall, you will serve as an advocate for POs by working to institutionalize their professional development, strengthen PO competencies, and advance the critical role of Program Officers in the Agency.

You will interact with Highlight's PM, create deliverables and monitor quality of products delivered to US Coast Guard (USCG).
As leader on this project, you will create and deliver reports, manage your staff and represent the PM when that person is not available or there is a surge of tasks or requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess thorough knowledge of Project Management/Administrative best practices as well as experience with the Microsoft Office suite. The position requires the application of extensive experience and seasoned judgment together with a broad knowledge and understanding of business systems, elements of good management, organization and management. Agriculture (USDA), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Investigations (INV). We provide support to the Hotline Analyst in order to accomplish the goals of processing the Food and Nutrition Serves (FNS) complaints.
As a Clerical Support Administrator, you wll provide any needed general administrative support to the Hotline Analysts and a project team including, but not limited to, team and project scheduling, document development and management, document librarian functions, desktop publishing, and visitor control.
