We are seeking a Director of Portfolio Development for our Mission Solutions business unit. This person is responsible for portfolio strategy and growth in Highlight's professional services lines of business and represents Highlight in relevant industry settings regarding assigned accounts.
Highlight’s Mission Solutions capabilities include Loans, Grants, Outreach and Communications, Conferences and Events, Training, Strategy and Policy, and PMO Support. The Director of Portfolio Development will have expertise delivering and selling one or more of these capability areas to federal government clients and will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year pipeline in these capability areas. The Director will also be responsible for collaborating with our Digital Government business unit to deliver integrated solutions that combine technology and consulting services.
You will enhance and drive strategies on two or more strategic customer accounts based on the intersection of corporate capabilities, contract vehicles, and established relationships. The account management activities range from plans for contract re-competes to developing and fostering successful relationships with clients and teaming partners. The account management also includes building, managing, and prosecuting a pipeline of new business opportunities within the assigned account space. You will lead the capture of new business awards through developing teams and solutions responsive to the customer needs, leveraging superior intelligence on existing work, teaming with the right partners, and proposing innovative and compelling solutions to meet customer requirements.
You will develop strategies (i.e. win themes; management solution; technical solution; teaming; pricing); coordinate corporate resources; build teams of subcontractors; assess competition; and present decision gate briefings to executive management. You will coordinate with proposal development; contracts; pricing and oversee bid completions.
This is a full-time telework / remote role that may require some travel.
