Overview

The Program Analyst (Administrative Officer) will provide technical support to the Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning’s (PPL) Administrative Management Services Team (AMS) in order to facilitate the effective achievement of all PPL priorities. You will provide direct support to the Staffing sub-team in multiple areas of focus including staffing, recruitment, human resources management, and various administrative processes.

Responsibilities

  • Human resources-related tasks such as: personnel actions, recruitment and workforce planning.
  • Maintain staffing data, organizational charts and staffing reports.
  • Support the coordination of the bureau awards program.
  • Supports AMS staff with drafting, routing and clearance of documents.
  • Communicates both orally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders .
  • Provides general support and performs ad-hoc tasks for AMS team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance. Current Secret preferred.
  • Masters with 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelors with 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicated complex programming concepts into clear, concise written documents and oral presentation required.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team. Must be able to plan, organize and use time effectively.  Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, a problem-solving attitude, capacity to thrive in a fluid environment.
