Overview

We are seeking a corporate governance coordinator to help us effectively manage corporate documents, meetings, and communication. This role will support our growth as we transition to a mid-sized government contracting firm and our new Employee-Owned governance structure. This role reports to the CEO and will work collaboratively with other departments.

 

This position is full-time remote/telework.

Responsibilities

Board and corporate governance support

  • Maintains organized repository of meeting minutes and board resolutions.
  • Coordinates Board meetings and prepares all necessary agendas and documents required for the meetings.
  • Takes meeting minutes of Board meetings and circulates them for review and approval.
  • Tracks action items to resolution.

 

Corporate policy support

  • Coordinates updates, approvals, and publication of corporate policies.
  • Maintains repository of corporate policies.

 

Corporate communication and coordination

  • Maintains and publishes official internal documents such as org charts and rosters.
  • Provides executive communication support.

 

Internal corporate meeting support

  • Supports internal corporate level meetings such as the Executive Steering Committee meeting and managers’ meetings.
  • Coordinates updates of slides, meeting invitations, and other administrative functions.

 

Special projects

  • Assists with corporate special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Able to work remotely and support business hours of 8-5 EST Monday - Friday.
  • Strong business writing skills in American English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, particularly the Review features (track changes, comments, etc.).
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Able to handle several tasks concurrently and manage workload and deadlines.
  • Able to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and Teams, and ability to learn new tools and software.
  • 2 years’ experience working in a corporate environment.
