You will join a team which is responsible for ensuring the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) IT programs and data capabilities are in place to meet vital Law Enforcement and National Security needs. You will help the FBI meet its mission “To protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States.”
To do this, we need highly skilled professionals with a history of successfully delivering IT system and platforms to meet missions of national importance. You will efficiently and effectively deliver support for a new, state of the art data center that leverages both on prem and cloud-based solutions to deliver IT capabilities for the FBI and the US Department of Justice.
Highlight is seeking a Desktop Deployment Engineer II to directly support the FBI. This exciting role is as part of the Highlight Team. A successful candiate will be responsible for Windows desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation and training to include automating application and configuration deployments and updates. Responsible for design, deployment, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues, not only of the base operating system, but for all support libraries, components and application dependencies.
The candiate shall be responsible for engineering and configuring data and printing between various classification levels and ensuring security of data for all FBI desktop systems.
