Overview

Highlight is looking for a Program Analyst in Washington, DC to provide support to USAID PPL's Administrative Management Services Team and Bureau leadership in order to facilitate the effective achievement of all PPL priorities. You will provide support in multiple areas of focus including Human Resources and Facilities Management, as well as Logistical and Administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the inventory of equipment/property and directly supports office operational services. (i.e. IT hardware and software, telecommunications, copiers, office supplies, etc.).
  • Serves as the organization's liaison with support services staff.
  • Plans and coordinates office moves, office construction, and other facility improvements that require extensive coordination of property, services, and facilities such as furniture, equipment, telephones, and short-term storage.
  • Coordinates workplace normalization projects and serves as bureau’s technical expert on Safer Federal Workplace.
  • Coordinates development of requirements for specialized supplies and services in consultation with contracting and procurement staff.
  • Communicates both orally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provides general support and performs ad-hoc tasks for AMS team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • On-site presence required; eligible for situational telework.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of work experience in a relevant field OR Master's degree with 5 years of work experience. 
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex programming concepts into clear, concise written documents and oral presentation required.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team. Must be able to plan, organize and use time effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, a problem-solving attitude, capacity to thrive in a fluid environment.
