Overview

Highlight is seeking a Training Program Coordinator to support the National Institutes of Health. You will support NIH's Division of Communications & Outreach (DCO)/NIH Extramural Staff Training Office (ESTO) as a Leadership Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as program lead for leadership programs.
  • Responsible for meeting with ESTO on a regular basis to coordinate tasks and prioritize activities.
  • Coordination of training programs and special events with tasks to include online registration support, keeping track of applications, updating brochures, and similar tasks.
  • Administrative needs including handling emails, coordinating logistics, and administering evaluation processes for training programs; Communicating with staff, faculty, and participants both written and orally.
  • Developing project plans and supporting curriculum development activities.
  • Support assessment and evaluation activities for the program.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Public Trust Eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Familiarity and expertise working with the NIH or other HHS agencies.
  • Understanding of the role of the Office of Extramural Research (OER) within the greater context of the NIH preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and project organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Fast learner and proactive.
  • Strong coordination management expertise.
