Highlight Marketing Department is currently seeking an entry level professional to help support content creation, developing new website content, and general marketing department needs.

• Assist with the development of a monthly content calendar based on BD goals, GovCon industry trends, and Highlight projects.
• Coordinate and facilitate social media posting utilizing HootSuite based on monthly content calendar developed with Marketing Manager.
• Provide content writing support for blog posts, press releases, social media content, website content, etc.
• Assist with developing content such as social media graphics, social media captions, writing blog posts, etc.
• Provide Event support including but not limited to, event management, sponsorship assistance, booth management, etc.
• Provide support with corporate projects as needed.
• Other Tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communication, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent Written and Communication Skills.
• 2+ years of experience preferred (internship experience included).
• Working knowledge of marketing technologies (e.g. HootSuite, Canva, MailChimp) and social channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) preferred.
• Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred.
