We are hiring for a Financial Analyst to support the Small Business Administration's (SBA) Birmingham office. You will independently perform a variety of evaluations and analyses regarding the eligibility and qualifications of applicant organizations and intermediaries.


This is a remote/telework opportunity.


  • Data Analysis, reports analyst; run monthly reports.
  • Conduct lender supervision reviews and enforce actions. Provide operational guidance and assistance to stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Provide guidance and direction to SBA field offices regarding the Agency’s policies and procedures relative to the Microloan and PRIME programs.
  • Assist the Office of Procurement and Grants Management in the administration of the Technical Assistance reimbursement which is a grant program under OPGM. Develop and recommend to the Chief, procedural and policy changes and enhancements.
  • Provide program oversight and administer management control systems and processes to ensure participants adhere to established Agency policy and procedures.
  • Conduct lender oversight activities for all of the Agency’s Lending partners and portfolio; and carry out policy, program and portfolio analysis of SBA loan program, micro loan, and disaster loan portfolios.


  • Public Trust eligibility.
  • Associates degree.
  • 5 years of experience.
  • Ability to make oral and written presentations clearly, concisely, and effectively.
  • Develop work product, recommendations, and suggestions that are relied on as technically correct. Complicated work is reviewed for agreement with overall policies, attainment of objectives, and due dates.
  • Reports Analyst.
