Highlight is seeking a Communications Program Analyst to USAID’s Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning (PPL) Communications Team. In this role, you will perform and lead specialized tasks within the Bureau, specifically in producing Bureau-wide, Agency-wide, and public communications products. Responsibilities include drafting talking points and presentations for PPL Front Office staff, writing press releases, Agency notices, and using social media to enhance awareness among targeted audiences. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with USAID’s main communications hub, the Bureau for Legislative and Public Affairs, on taskers and inter-Bureau communications as well as planning events. You may serve as the lead on high-priority products for use within and outside the Agency.
The PPL Communications Team is located in PPL’s Front Office that reports directly to PPL Senior Leadership. You will coordinate with the Communications Team Lead on day-to-day priorities. This is a small team that requires all members to work on all aspects of team priorities to fulfill team objectives.
